The knowledge of host plants, distribution and economic importance Lonchaeidae is scarce in Latin America. We have recovered specimens from most fruit samples containing Tephritidae. compilation information essential to determine the diversity species relationship with their hosts. In addition list records based on early publications, we add unpublished data Lonchaeids plant collected Instituto Biológico, São Paulo, Brazil. total, 18 Lonchaeidae, belonging genera Dasiops, Lonchaea Neosilba were registered associated 111 27 botanical families. New are listed geographical available by specific maps.
